Introduction to AutoCAD Ver 2 RT

This is a sandbox to be utilized by the EDSS ICT Unit to create an AutoCAD online course.

Draughting and Construction Retraining

The course provides training in the knowledge and skills required to read, interpret and prepare 2D and 3D drawings, specifications and schedules for residential buildings using both technical drawing skills and computer-aided design (CAD) methods.  Construction drawings will include; sketches (e.g. plans, evaluations, isometric projections, axonometric projections) and formal scaled drawings (e.g. general arrangements, layouts, plans sections, and elevations).  The course also covers the knowledge required to operate various Microsoft software applications.

Life Management Skills 2.0

The Life Management Skills course seeks to provide participants with the skills and attitudes that would enable them to adjust to the new work environment emerging as a result of the environmental, technological, organisational and economic change.  Participants will be encouraged to view change as an opportunity that must be anticipated, prepared for and managed.
