Career Enhancement C51 MTEA

The objective of the Career Enhancement programme is to assist trainees in developing the knowledge, skills, and attitudes to competently manage the world of work and make life-sustaining choices.

Career Enhancement training is mandatory for each trainee enrolled in TVET; however, trainees who have already successfully completed Career Enhancement and have returned to pursue a related skill may apply for an exemption.

This vocational skills training course, Child Care Attendant Level 1, aims to provide information and training on young children's growth, physical and emotional development from birth to 5 years of age.  Communication, safety, and the nutritional needs of the growing child are important aspects of this programme that will be studied.

Small Business Management C51 MVC

This course is designed for persons who are desirous of starting their own business. Upon completion of this course, participants will be exposed to the tenets of micro-entrepreneurship.  Key objectives include develop entrepreneurial skills and attitudes, identify and assess viable business ideas, conceptualize and plan micro-business projects, develop a business plan, take the initial steps towards starting a business, apply management principles to business ventures, practice the various aspects of running a business, assess funds and markets and start a business.
